G-ST Gaskets

Rubber-Steel Gaskets and Flange Connections from Kroll & Ziller

Rubber-steel gaskets from Kroll & Ziller are used for the secure sealing of flange connections in all areas of pipeline construction.

The rubber-steel flange gaskets have a steel insert vulcanized into an elastomeric material. During vulcanization, extreme adhesion is achieved between the steel core and the rubber coating. Even under the highest stresses, this makes it impossible to shift, detach or blow out.

Depending on the respective elastomer, the flange gaskets can be used in a wide range of applications and are suitable for water, steam, gas, air, acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, among others, whereby operating temperatures of up to approx. 200 °C are possible. Rubber-steel gaskets meet the requirements of TA Luft and, depending on the material, various other requirements such as the requirement for use in drinking water, the gas sector, food technology and many other industries.

Your advantages when using rubber-steel-gaskets

  • Tightness even at low surface pressure (even at low tightening torques)
  • Very good adaptability to the sealing surfaces
  • Low leakage rates thanks to homogeneous structure of elastomeric materials
  • Blow-out safety and maximum stability due to centrally positioned, corrosion-protected and vulcanized steel inlay
  • Optimum handling when installing the gasket
