Double protection for tapered roller bearings
The NILOS-RING AK is manufactured for the bearing sides shown in the sketch. The dimensions of the sealing edge are significantly different from the other designs due to the different widths between the inner and outer bearing rings. It is dimensioned in such a way that it still makes secure contact with the rolling bearing ring and thus provides a reliable seal in all cases.
Type AK for tapered roller bearings
The NILOS-RING AK is manufactured for the bearing sides shown in the sketch.
Type AK:
A second externally sealing design for tapered roller bearings is the NILOS double ring, which is designated as type AK.
Designation:
E.g. the NILOS-RING abbreviation 313 11 AK is used to designate a double outer sealing NILOS-RING for a single row tapered roller bearing 313 11.
